Our story

Made by hand. Meant to be lived with.

Making concrete pieces in the Minimal Loot Design studio

Minimal Loot Design began with a simple idea: the useful things around us can also bring a sense of calm.

From my studio on California’s Central Coast, I make concrete pieces in small batches. Each one is poured, sanded, finished, and sealed by hand. The process is slow by nature, and I value it that way.

Variation is not a flaw. It is the trace of the making.

Concrete carries subtle shifts in tone, texture, and pattern. No two pours settle in exactly the same way. Those differences give each piece its own quiet character.

I design with restraint—simple forms, tactile surfaces, and a purpose that lasts beyond a season. My hope is that each piece feels at home in your space and becomes part of an everyday ritual.

Thank you for supporting small-batch, independent making.
